Accommodation in a wooden barrel
The barrel is custom made to meet all requirements for comfortable accommodation. It has three rooms: a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a room with a sitting area and equipment (mini fridge, kettle). In the last part there is a fully equipped bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer and other necessities). In addition, you have a fully private terrace with a gas grill that has three burners and a stove. The grill comes with a griddle, a pot and a tray for grilling. The barrel is insulated, which means it is suitable for year-round recreation.
The barrel is air conditioned.
There will always be a parking space reserved for you just a few metres from the accomodation.
We will provide a free picnic basket with snacks, wine and a picnic blanket for your stay.
How it all started
The first idea for this project was conceived at home over a glass of wine. We were looking for a nice place in the Czech Republic where we could go for a weekend. During our search we found out that the beauty of most places is ruined by rather impersonal and uninviting accommodation. So we came up with this idea - to offer stylish accommodation that would enhance the experience of the beautiful surroundings of South Moravia.
Main idea
We createunusual and very comfortable accommodation, stylishly matching the environment of the wine village Bořetice with a view of the pond, meadows and hills. We allow you to spend an unforgettable night in an all-wooden barrel.
The residential barrel is located in a peaceful setting on the edge of the recessionary Free State of Cow Mountain, close to nearly three hundred cellars with a diverse range of wine products.
You decide whether you want to relax with a glass of wine in the middle of the vineyard or discover the beauty of South Moravia on foot or by bike. Breakfast, electric bike rental and a picnic basket with a bottle of excellent wine can be offered to your satisfaction. The atmosphere of the local environment is best enjoyed during a guided tasting of Moravian wine samples.
We can also arrange other services for those interested - horse riding, tennis court rental, paint ball or wellness.
Tourist and other destinations in the vicinity: swimming pools, cycling trails, Lednice-Valtice area, Pálava Hills, lookout towers of the wine region, almond orchard in Hustopeče, ski slope.
